It rains a lot in the Netherlands, so it wasn’t a huge surprise that the day Dara & Michiel celebrated their wedding in the Netherlands was cloud-filled. Fortunately, they’re lovely people who made the best of it. The day wasn’t dampened at all. I love these two together and it was a joy to be with them as they had their second wedding. (First one was in Indonesia!) I love Dara’s dress, the way Michiel looks at his bride and two families from different cultures coming together to celebrate. They love each other so much, it’s been fun to catch up with Dara over the years for a coffee as I visit and hear her stories about the man who captured her heart. I met them for some engagement photos in my visit prior to this one, it rained constantly on that day too but we had an amazing time and I wholly support their union. They’re so smart (Dara is a Dr!!), incredibly adventurous and active and incredibly sincere. I wish you the very best together, Dara and Michiel.
