These faces might look familiar. We’ve only been friends for a bit over 3 months, but we’ve spent more time with these people than anyone else in this past season. I blogged about Old Slate one other time (view it here). This is from Sunday afternoon, we spent it coworking on the farm. Some people harvested chamomile, cornflower and calendula. Others did work around the farm or something they brought along to do. We ended with a picnic. Katie was a beast and chopped whole chicken in to proper pieces, Brad grilled it outside and then we feasted. They raised these chickens! At the end of the night, Katie harvested some flowers with medicinal uses for Aniko to take to a market, she has a whole line of products made from herbs and plants. Thank you for always opening your home to us, we adore you.
