I met Sonja a few years ago, when I posted a call for models for a traveler themed styled shoot. I remember her initial email vividly, introducing herself and including the fact that she had a very handsome husband if we needed him too. Since then, we’ve been friends and supportive in each other’s endeavors to launch and grow our individual photography businesses. This year she and her handsome husband, Daniel, moved to Seattle to start a new adventure together. Over Christmas and New Years, Adam (he went from my boyfriend to fiancé during that trip!) and I visited them. We had delicious breakfasts, chilly walks on the beach and a sweet time getting to know each other more. One of the perks of being on a trip with photographers is you get your trip documented beautifully! Sonja captured the engagement on our icy hike in photos while Dan shot some video.
