I’m super intrigued by pay-as-you-wish/feel/can models for business. Two weeks ago I was reading THIS article that Adam sent me on Huffington Post and discussing it with the people I’m staying with in Amsterdam. Julia mentioned seeing a place along Albertcuypstraat (my favorite market where I did the 100 faces project) that seemed to be the same type. I visited and was blown away by the kindness of the people working as well as the delicious flavors in their food. It was a brilliant, warm, gezellig place that really was inviting. One day, they were giving a little talk outside about the business, so I documented that for them as well as Brooke and my meals and a bit behind the scenes in the kitchen. TRUST also features a different artist every month, for wall art and also bathroom signage, this month’s artist has work here. If you visit Amsterdam, I highly suggest having a meal (lunches are your best bet, they’ve recently started opening on Thursday evenings though) in this lovely gem of a place.
